The National Pedagogical Museum of J. A. Comenius (NPMK) participated in the 23rd Film Festival MUSAIONfilm with the film Přemysl Pitter´s „Children”. NPMK received from the expert jury The Czech ICOM Committee Award for a museum documentary film with a significant international reach.
MUSAIONfilm is a festival organized by the Jan Amos Comenius Museum in Uherský Brod, where especially museums can present their latest films. Films in several categories compete for expert jury prizes. 47 films were registered for the festival this year.
The movie Přemysl Pitter´s "Children" summarizes the humanitarian work of P. Pitter and his co-workers during the "Operation Castles" 1945-1947.
